The MENRED BE160 is designed for rooms where installing a centralized ventilation system is difficult or unnecessary. A single Ø160 mm through-wall opening connects the room with the outdoors, making it suitable for bedrooms, apartments, renovation projects and other individual-room applications.
Its antibacterial honeycomb ceramic core stores and releases heat as the airflow direction reverses, providing heat recovery efficiency of up to 98% while helping reduce ventilation-related heating and cooling losses.
Powered by a DC EC fan, BE160 consumes only 5–8W across its operating levels.
Four fan settings — Night / I / II / III — provide operating noise from 21 to 28 dB(A), making the unit particularly suitable for bedrooms and other noise-sensitive residential spaces.
BE160 supports three operating modes:
In heat recovery operation, the airflow direction reverses approximately every 50 seconds, allowing the ceramic core to alternately store and release thermal energy.
Standard G2 F7 filtration helps reduce dust, insects and airborne particles entering the room. A G4 filter option is also available for different project requirements.
BE160 can be controlled using the unit controls, remote controller or Tuya Wi-Fi App.
A Sensirion temperature and humidity sensor is included as standard. Optional or external sensor integration can support additional indoor air quality monitoring requirements, including CO₂, VOC, PM2.5 and formaldehyde depending on project configuration.
Two BE160 units can be paired wirelessly to operate in opposite airflow directions, helping coordinate room air supply and exhaust. Wireless communication is supported over a documented range of up to 30 m.
This makes BE160 suitable not only as a standalone room ventilator but also for paired decentralized ventilation layouts.
