The MENRED MGC series is a DC inverter air source heat pump range with heating capacities from 10 kW to 44 kW. Designed for hydronic heating and cooling systems, the series combines variable-speed compressor control with EVI technology to provide stable and efficient operation across varying building loads and outdoor conditions.
The system is suitable for residential and light commercial HVAC applications, including underfloor heating, fan coil systems and other water-based heating and cooling installations.
DC inverter control allows the compressor to adjust its operating capacity according to the actual heating or cooling demand. Instead of operating continuously at maximum output, the heat pump can modulate its capacity as the building load changes.
This variable-speed operation helps improve part-load efficiency, maintain more stable water temperatures and reduce unnecessary compressor cycling while also supporting quieter operation.
Enhanced Vapor Injection (EVI) technology is designed to support more stable compressor performance when outdoor temperatures fall. By improving the refrigerant cycle under demanding heating conditions, EVI helps the heat pump maintain useful heating capacity in colder climates.
Combined with DC inverter control, the MGC series can respond to changing outdoor temperatures and system loads while maintaining efficient hydronic heating operation.
