The MENRED Lech WFFM.D02 and WFFM.E02 are sediment pre-filters for the first stage of a residential water treatment system. Installed on the incoming municipal water line, their 40 μm stainless steel mesh helps intercept sand, rust particles and suspended matter before water reaches downstream equipment.
The D02 has a listed maximum working flow of 3 m³/h, while the E02 is listed at 4 m³/h. Both use rotary scraping and siphon flushing to help remove accumulated sediment from the filter assembly.
The cleaning mechanism combines a rotating scraper with flushing. The scraper helps loosen deposits from the mesh and filter bowl, while flushing carries released sediment out through the discharge.
The 360° rotation describes the scraping action. Follow the model-specific installation instructions for permitted mounting orientation and water-flow direction.
Regular cleaning is still required. Choose the cleaning frequency according to incoming sediment loading and operating conditions. The pressure gauge indicates pressure; it does not regulate pressure or replace a pressure-reducing valve.

Specifications follow the headquarters D02/E02 selection table. Actual flow depends on supply pressure, pipework and filter condition. Confirm the supplied connection configuration, thread standard and installation dimensions before ordering.
Choose between D02 and E02 according to the required flow and installation conditions. The E02 has a higher listed maximum working flow, but model selection should also consider available supply pressure and acceptable pressure loss.
These pre-filters provide particle filtration at the household water inlet. They do not replace water softening, disinfection or treatment of dissolved contaminants. Select downstream treatment according to incoming water quality and the intended use.
For scheduled automatic cleaning, explore the Lunde automatic backwash pre-filter. For cartridge-based filtration, see the Lech PP sediment pre-filter. Compare the full MENRED pre-filter range.
The headquarters selection table lists a maximum working flow of 3 m³/h for WFFM.D02 and 4 m³/h for WFFM.E02. Both have a 40 μm filtration rating.
The mesh helps intercept sand, rust particles and suspended matter in municipal tap water. It provides sediment pre-filtration rather than complete drinking-water purification.
The filter combines rotary scraping and siphon flushing to help loosen and discharge accumulated sediment. Follow the product instructions for the cleaning procedure.
No. The mesh is designed for cleaning without routine disposable cartridge replacement, but inspection and regular cleaning are still required.
Confirm the required flow, supply pressure, water temperature, connection configuration, thread standard, mounting orientation and space for cleaning discharge and servicing.
