The MENRED Lunde automatic sediment pre-filter is designed for first-stage filtration at the household water inlet. Its reusable 316L stainless steel mesh helps intercept sand, rust particles and suspended matter before water reaches downstream equipment.
Combining a 40 μm filtration rating with a listed flow rate of 6.0 m³/h, the Lunde series supports residential whole-house pre-filtration. Automatic cleaning combines forward flushing, siphon backwashing and rotary scraping to help remove accumulated sediment.
The cleaning assembly combines three complementary actions. Forward flushing carries away loose sediment, siphon backwashing helps clear the mesh, and the rotating scraper loosens deposits from the filter surface. Together, these actions reduce the need for frequent manual disassembly.
Automatic flushing supports regular cleaning, but the filter still requires periodic inspection. Sediment loading, water consumption and operating conditions determine whether additional cleaning or servicing is needed.
Use the touch display to select an automatic flushing interval of 7, 15 or 30 days according to incoming water quality. A shorter interval may be appropriate where sediment loading is higher. Manual flushing is available for additional cleaning between scheduled cycles.
The washable stainless steel mesh avoids routine replacement of disposable sediment cartridges. It does not eliminate maintenance: inspect the filter, flushing discharge and connections regularly, and follow the product instructions for cleaning and servicing.

Actual flow and pressure loss depend on supply pressure, pipework, sediment loading and filter condition. Confirm connection size and electrical supply requirements before ordering.
Position the pre-filter on the incoming municipal water line, upstream of the equipment it is intended to protect. Provide access for inspection, maintenance and flushing discharge. Professional installation is recommended.
The Lunde pre-filter can be considered for apartments, houses and villas supplied with municipal tap water. First-stage sediment filtration helps reduce particulate loading on downstream treatment equipment and water-using appliances.
A 40 μm sediment filter does not replace water softening, disinfection or treatment of dissolved contaminants. Select additional treatment according to incoming water quality and the intended use.

The 40 μm stainless steel mesh helps intercept sand, rust particles and suspended matter in municipal tap water. It provides first-stage sediment filtration rather than complete drinking-water purification.
The system combines forward flushing, siphon backwashing and rotary scraping to help loosen and discharge accumulated sediment from the filter.
The touch display offers intervals of 7, 15 or 30 days. Choose an interval according to incoming water quality and sediment loading, and adjust it based on inspection and operating conditions.
Yes. Manual flushing is available through the control interface for additional cleaning between scheduled cycles.
The reusable mesh is designed for repeated cleaning without routine disposable cartridge replacement. Periodic inspection and maintenance are still required, and damaged or worn components may need replacement.
Confirm the water source, required flow, connection size, operating pressure, water temperature and electrical supply. Provide sufficient maintenance clearance and a suitable flushing discharge route.
