MENRED GMTX is a twin-conductor heating cable for electric underfloor heating. The single-end cold lead connection lets the installer route the heating section through the floor without bringing a second connection end back to the starting point. The cable provides nominal linear output of 18.5 W/m and can be laid at a designed spacing to suit the project.

Unlike a single-conductor cable that requires both connection ends to reach the power connection area, GMTX uses a single-end cold lead. Cable spacing determines approximate floor output: 18.5 W/m at 120 mm spacing corresponds to about 154 W/m²; at 100 mm, about 185 W/m². These are calculations for early planning, not an installation prescription.
Use a compatible electric floor-heating thermostat with a floor sensor. Verify the connected load, protective grounding, circuit protection, floor finish and installation instructions with a qualified installer. Do not cut, cross or overlap the heating section.
